We visited in December to go the Merano Christmas Market. Our host was impeccable, the room was immaculate; property is charming, gorgeous, and well-maintained. The food was delicious, one of the best breakfasts we have been offered in Italy. For that matter, everything was tops. Overall the best hotel I have been to in Italy, and frankly one of the best I have been to in quite some time. The location is great if you are going to the Christmas market, it is less than a 10 minute walk, but this would be a wonderful place to stay if you wanted to explore Merano and the surrounding area any time of year, or to hop over to one of the other Christmas markets in the area. The only recommendation I would make is that they offer a variety of pillows in the room for the bed of different firmness or size as many places do. But that is merely a recommendation, as the property truly lacks for nothing. We hope to return! Oh, a perk of staying there is they have their own booth in the Christmas market, and guests get a free drink, which is quite a deal as they give you a mug, which is a must have. And the food is outstanding!

I miei genitori hanno soggiornato durante il Merano Wine Festival. La posizione comodissima ha permesso loro di muoversi comodamente a piedi; la camera era molto spaziosa e confortevole, con una vista mozzafiato sulla bellissima Merano.
Hanno particolarmente apprezzato la ricca colazione, e il personale sempre disponibile e gentile.
Un ringraziamento speciale al Direttore Gruber, che è stato gentilissimo sia durante il loro soggiorno sia nell’aiutarci a recuperare alcuni oggetti lasciati nella stanza.
Torneremo sicuramente per un carico di energie e vitalità!

Ottimo hotel. Personale molto gentile e disponibile a soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta. Posizione vicina al centro. Pulizia accurata nelle stanze e nelle parti comuni. Bellissima piscina con idromassaggio. Ho apprezzato molto il servizio piatti utilizzati in sala da pranzo in porcellana fine, quel qualcosa in più che a volte non trovo nemmeno in categorie 5 stelle.
Super consigliato.

per il compleanno di mia moglie (ottobre) ci siamo regalati 4 giorni nella splendida Merano e in questa incantevole villa hotel. Merano la conosciamo molto bene in quanto ci soggiorniamo per alcuni giorni da tanti anni ma era la prima volta che sceglievamo questo hotel. siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti per la pulizia, la cortesia del direttore e di tutto il personale e per l'ottimo cibo sia a colazione (super abbondante sia dolce che salata) che a cena (gourmet di ottimo livello e qualità). la struttura è anche dotata di ampio parcheggio gratuito e di due piscine una esterna e una interna, logicamente essendo stati a ottobre abbiamo potuto godere ogni giorno solo di quella interna dotata anche di vasca idromassaggio (l'hotel fornisce kit con ciabattine, accappatoio e asciugamano). "Last but not least" è vicinissima al centro di Merano con una piacevole breve passeggiata di pochi minuti.
Abbiamo soggiornato in una bella camera con balcone con splendida vista sui giardini e sulle montagne.
essendo stati negli anni scorsi in diverse altre strutture di Merano possiamo affermare senza ombra di dubbio che il rapporto qualità prezzo è top e quindi.....se nostro Signore ce lo permetterà ci torneremo.

Luxus pur. Dafür eigentlich nicht teuer. Müsste 6 Sterne erhalten. Bestes Frühstück ever! Jederzeit wieder!
Das Zimmer war nicht sehr geräumig aber nett eingerichtet, Balkon mit Blick auf den parkähnlichen Hotelgarten. Besonders hervorzuheben waren der freundliche und kompetente Concierge. Zu Fuß ck. 8 min in die Altstadt.

Wunderschöne und traumhafte Villa mit einem
sehr gepflegten Garten,wo man unter Palmen
wundervoll verweilen kann.
Das Personal war unbeschreiblich
freundlich,herzlich und aufmerksam.
Ich habe selten so viel Wertschätzung erlebt.
Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war eine Klasse für
sich,aber vor allem das Abendmenü und die
Weinauswahl ist wirklich sehr empfehlenswert und sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.
Die Villa ist super gelegen, da die Bushaltestellengleich in der Nähe sind und zur Promenade ca.10 Minuten Fußweg.
Eine echte Empfehlung für einen entspannten
Urlaub❤️.

Die Fotos auf der Homepage spiegeln nur ansatzweise die phantastische Realität dieses Hauses wieder. Das Hotel mit seiner beeindruckenden Fassade und dem herrlichen Garten ist ein wunderschöner Ort um entspannt Urlaub zu machen. Umsorgt wird man von einem stets freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service-Team, welches ohne übertriebene Förmlichkeit eine tolle Atmosphäre schafft.
Das üppige Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen und das abendliche 4-Gänge Menü (zum sensationellen Preis) sollte man sich auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen. Als kleinen Tipp für Leckermäuler empfehle ich vor allem das Freitagsmenü mit anschließendem Dessert Buffet - einfach unglaublich!
Die hervorragende Lage bietet die Möglichkeit in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß das Stadtzentrum oder gute Busverbindungen zu erreichen.

Location fantastica, soprattutto il giardino ricco di angoli ombrosi in cui rifugiarsi. Personale attento e sempre disponibile. Cibo ottimo. Camera single e senza pretese ma pulita e funzionale. Consiglio di arricchire un po' le dotazioni della Spa. Prezzo competitivo.

Wir können dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen. Hannes, der Hotelleiter, versteht sein Fach bestens. Viel Empathie gemischt mit Einsatz.
Die Sauberkeit ist ebenfalls top.
Das nicht alles geboten werden kann, ist dem Alter des Hotels geschuldet. Der Charm des Gebäudes macht das allemal wett. Für Hannes gibt mindestes einen Stern mehr, da er trotz kurzfristiger Anreise mit unserer kleinen Tochter uns noch ein Zimmer zur Verfügung stellen konnte. Nochmals vielen Dank

We had such an amazing stay here. The building itself is beautiful and full of character, and even though it’s older, it’s kept in absolutely perfect condition. Everything was spotless and really well looked after.

Our room was super clean and comfortable, and the common areas and garden were lovely to spend time in. The shower was great too, which is always a big plus.

The service was honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. Roland at reception was incredible – so friendly, helpful, and really made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. Everyone else on the team was just as attentive and made sure everything was completely hassle-free.

The food was delicious. Breakfast didn’t have a huge selection, but the quality was excellent and everything tasted fresh. Drinks were great too. Parking was free and there were plenty of spaces, which made things really convenient.

Overall, it was just a fantastic experience from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for more and would recommend it to anyone.

Selten, wirklich selten habe ich einen so freundlichen, geradezu herzlichen Empfang erfahren, eine positive Stimmung von der ersten Minute an. Eine sehr schöne Villa charmantes Ambiente, Garten, Terrasse, Pool - und stets diese Freundlichkeit, mit der selbst ein Glas Wasser nachgeschenkt wird. Ein - so kam es mir vor - junges Team, sehr fachkundig, professionell und zugewandt. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Weinkarte war nach meinem Geschmack, Parkplatz für den Pkw war vorhanden. Ein tolles Hotel! Ich werde wiederkommen.

Hotel Bavaria was even better than we anticipated! I spent DAYS researching hotels to stay at for our first trip to Merano. The director Hans responded to my multiple emails with such positive energy that the Bavaria beat all the other options. He also made the effort to email after I’d booked to describe Merano and his email was perfect to make me relax that I’d made a good choice.

As an English family travelling to an area that is mainly visited by German or Italian tourists we were worried we would feel alien, but we couldn’t be more wrong. ALL the staff are so welcoming and professional and we felt so happy here.

This heritage hotel is the cleanest I’ve visited, the rooms don’t have a mark or scratch to be seen. The housemaids are awesome at their work.

The food is divine, breakfast very healthy and lots of variety, everything is top quality. The waiting staff is brilliant and one gentleman noticed my cappuccino might not be frothy enough so he changed it, what attention to detail!

The evening 5 course meal is gastronomy heaven, I wish we had eaten here more often.

Tali the bartender was so polite and he remembered how I liked my drink straight away so I didn’t need to ask again, such a skill.

Great app so you can order drinks from your poolside lounger and service so fast. Lovely indoor/outdoor pool, so clean and luxurious.

Special mention has to go to Hans, he works so hard, he was the reason I booked Bavaria and I’m so pleased I did! Hans is always smiling as he walks around, it’s genuine. I love the Hotel Bavaria and was so sad to leave.
